Kind Attn: CEO/CMD/ Plant Head of Designated Consumer Plants in the aluminium, chlor- alkali, cement, fertilizer, iron and steel, pulp and paper, textile and thermal power station sectors Sub: Country Focused Training Course in Energy Conservation Techniques for India (2nd Batch) from 15th January 2012 to 18th February 2012 in Japan – Request for nomination of Certified Energy Manager/ Certified Energy Auditor employed in Designated Consumer Plants. The Government of Japan is offering the aforementioned training for certified energy managers and energy auditors through Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India. The designated consumer plants are requested to nominate Certified Energy Manager/ Certified Energy Auditor working in their plants. This offer is open only to BEE certified energy mangers and certified energy auditors employed in 8 Sectors of Designated Consumer Plants, covered under the Perform Achieve and Trade (PAT) Scheme. The criterion to be followed for the selection process of the certified energy manager/certified energy auditor is attached as Annexure-A. This is the 2nd batch of this training program, those candidates who had applied for the 1st batch and have not been selected, their application would be considered for the 2nd batch provided that they shall intimate the approval of their management for this current training program in writing to BEE by the last date. They need not to send their application again. The nominated applicant must provide a valid e-mail id and working mobile no. in the application form. All the communication in this regard will be send through email and phone. The Bureau will not be responsible for any delay in information due to wrong email id or mobile no. The Government of Japan would provide a round trip air ticket, accommodation allowance, living allowance etc. as given in the JICA document attached as Annexure -B. The application format is attached as Annexure –C and also can be downloaded from www.energymanagertraining.com. The list of documents required to be submitted along with the duly filled in application form is mentioned in Annexure-D.. All the applications in hard copy (one original and three Xerox copies) and soft copy in CD in the required format along with the requisite documents may be sent at the following address:- Shri Neeraj Dhingra The last date of the submission of the application for the above mentioned training program has been extended from 9th September to 30th September 2011. The application completed in all respects should reach the above address not later than 30th September 2011. Only hard copy of the application will be accepted till the last date, e-mail will not be considered. The application received after the last date (30th September, 2011) due to any reason and not completed in all respect will be summarily rejected without any prior notice.
